Sukhdev was born to cook. After 13 years of full-time work in the Sarnath Café, he continues to ignite his passion of experimenting with new ingredients and learning new dishes to his constantly expanding menu. A visit to Chennai resulted in the addition of south Indian food like dosa and idli, and finding interesting new things in the market leads to exciting (though sometimes unsuccessful) new creations. Even after a horrible motorcycle accident that led to the loss of a leg, Sukhdev continues to be a constant force of energy in the kitchen, making sure that every dish is prepared to his high standards of perfection.
