Pankaj – Head Cook

Pankaj is 25 years-old and from Bihar, in north central India. He has worked at Sarnath Café since 2007 and become Sukhdev’s most dedicated and reliable staff.

I am very happy working here. I’ve worked in Sarnath Café for so many years it feels natural to me now. I’m given a lot of responsibility so I feel happy and at home. BSS is a good school; every morning we cook 300 hot meals for the students. Soon I will get married so I am happy about that. We will live near Sarnath Café and I will continue my job here.
